Amen!! I never knew how much I could love before being a mom. When I was in grad school I often prayed over my flocks and fields and thought I had a testimony of receiving strength beyond my own when I was up against what felt like an impossible wall with my research. But I have had that testimony strengthened so much more as I have hit similarly impossible seeming walls in my ability to have the patience I desire in motherhood. The walls come quicker and the strength more certainly in motherhood.
I love this! I agree that there are things I thought I had a strong testimony of that have astonished me how much more my testimony can grow, usually as a result of still more difficult challenges than I'd previously faced. And sometimes just as very different challenges than I'd previously faced.
